A weekend with friends and a pool, between Bordeaux and Toulouse

Twelve friends, five bedrooms and a pool, deep in the countryside
Twelve friends, five bedrooms, generous spaces and a pool, deep in the countryside. La Maison de Ninette is 1 hour 30 minutes from both Bordeaux and Toulouse: just the place for a long weekend in May, a birthday with the whole gang or a reunion weekend in the heart of South-West France.
The plan is up to you
Pool, footpaths, golf and padel by day; a long table and table football by night
Saturday starts over a drink in the kitchen. Then the pool: a 3 × 10 m saltwater lap pool, heated in the warmer months, with sun loungers under the trees. Anyone who wants to get moving can head off along the estate’s paths on foot, by bike or on an electric scooter from our partner hire company; the Agen Bon-Encontre golf course is 2 minutes away, and there’s padel 10 minutes away in Agen.
In the evening: drinks on the terrace, dinner around one big table, then take your pick – the big screen in the main sitting room, a table football tournament in the English-style sitting room, board games, or a night under the stars in the grounds.

A proper bedroom for every couple
Five bedrooms, each with its own shower room and toilet, twelve beds, and four air-conditioned bedrooms upstairs. And if there are more of you, the estate’s two self-contained gîtes add eight more beds, for twenty in total.
Bed linen, towels and pool towels provided, end-of-stay cleaning included: on Sunday evening, you simply hand back the keys.
Around the house
Agen is 10 minutes away for the Sunday morning market and some great places to eat. The Canal de Garonne greenway makes for a completely flat bike ride. The bastide towns of Lot-et-Garonne are perfect for an afternoon outing. And Walygator and Aqualand are twenty minutes away, if the group is still young at heart. You’ll find all the details in our welcome guide.
For a milestone birthday, La Métairie can arrange the touch that makes all the difference: a caterer, a cooking workshop, a yoga session on Sunday morning. See our Events page.
