Bringing a team together away from the office, in a peaceful family home less than two hours from Bordeaux and Toulouse: that is what La Métairie Castelculier offers. La Maison de Ninette hosts countryside corporate retreats, team-building days, training courses and creative workshops for 6 to 12 people staying on site, and up to 20 with the estate’s two additional gîtes.
A house designed for a different way of working
A versatile central space, three breakout spaces and the countryside all around
The centrepiece of the house is its central space, bright and versatile. In the morning it becomes a meeting room; at lunchtime, one long table; in the evening, a place to unwind or watch a film. There is high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house and a large screen in the sitting room; please bring your own flipchart and projector.
Around this room, three spaces change the pace of a working day: the sitting room with its fireplace for small-group discussions, the English-style sitting room with its bookcase and table football for breaks, and the kitchen with its central island for a team cooking workshop or a breakfast made together.
Outside, there are meadows, woods and footpaths. Meetings can be held on foot; breaks can stretch out beside the lap pool, heated in the warmer months.

Sleep on site, with no logistics to worry about
Five bedrooms, each with its own shower room and toilet, and 12 beds, including a 30 m² ground-floor bedroom accessible to guests with reduced mobility. The four upstairs bedrooms are air-conditioned. Bed linen, towels and pool towels provided, end-of-stay cleaning included: your team arrives, drops its bags and gets straight to work.
For a larger group, two self-contained 3-star gîtes on the same estate, each sleeping 4, bring capacity up to 20.
Tailor-made packages
Half day, full day or evening: La Métairie puts the programme together with you.
- Residential retreat over two or three days, meals and accommodation included.
- Team-building day: a workshop in the morning, lunch, then an afternoon activity (a walk on the estate, electric bikes and scooters, yoga, a visit to a craft brewery).
- Training course or creative workshop in the central space, with breaks in the grounds.
- Team evening: a dinner with a difference, drinks with substantial canapés, or a restorative brunch the morning after.
Caterer, facilitator, wellness practitioner: La Métairie works with local partners and takes care of all the organisation.
Getting to La Métairie
La Métairie is in Castelculier, Lot-et-Garonne, in the heart of South-West France. Agen and its TGV station are 10 kilometres away (Paris in 3 hours 12 minutes, Bordeaux in 1 hour 20 minutes, Toulouse in 1 hour 10 minutes). By road, Toulouse is 120 km away and Bordeaux 150 km via the A62 motorway. There is on-site parking for all vehicles.

How many participants can you accommodate?
From 6 to 12 people staying in La Maison de Ninette, and up to 20 with the two additional gîtes. For a day event without accommodation, the central space seats 30 people theatre-style.
Do you provide meals?
The fitted kitchen is at your disposal. For a full service, La Métairie arranges meals with a private chef. Packages are quoted on request.
Can we have exclusive use of the whole estate?
Yes. A corporate retreat books the whole of La Maison de Ninette and, on request, the two additional gîtes as well, giving you exclusive use of the entire estate.
